My mom just had a birthday go by and it was a rather big one! We were celebrating her 60th birthday party. I invited all of her friends and we surprised her with this experience. She was really excited and we all had a great time. Unfortunately, we all ended up in a huge fight with my mother. During the party, her HVAC system stopped working. We know this because the house was becoming rather warm and we could not change the temperature on the thermostat. We all yelled at my mom because we have talked to her before. We have told her that she needs to take care of the HVAC system. It seems like she never learns her lesson. We had to call the HVAC business in the middle of the party to solve the cooling issue. The house was getting too warm so we moved outside. We waited for the HVAC technician to arrive. Eventually, he arrived to fix the HVAC system. We showed him what the problem was and he was easily able to fix the thermostat. It turns out that the thermostat randomly stopped working and needed to be reset with new wires. We were all unsure about how this happened. This situation with the cooling was not even her fault this time. However, we all still yelled at her to start taking better care of her home. It is the only place that she lives. I left the number of the HVAC business on the fridge once again. I am sure she will need to call for more HVAC system repairs in the future.
