Mom is having dinner at her house and that is about it as far as the partying goes for New Year’s Eve night, as last night we had quite a bonfire party on the beach till pretty late. Today I am just going to do some writing and then I’ll go for a run at some point to clear the cobwebs from my brain. I met a pretty girl last night and I think I will message her today instead of waiting three days like all of my friends say. If she likes me she likes me, no games. My HVAC rep said “you gotta wait three days or else”, but I really don’t care about the or else because I am flying out of the country in a week and it really won’t matter then. She works at this local business doing HVAC sales and I just messaged her telling her how fun it was talking to her last night. It’s not often that you meet such a lovely soul and I just wanted to tell her, it’s as simple as that. I could wait like my local contractor told me to do, but why wait? It’s not like she is going to like me less if I say thanks and that I had fun talking to her, I won’t say anything more than that unless she wants to talk. The heating supplier company where I work is waiting for me back home and in ten days I am going to be just a ghost of a memory in this country.
