Bob & I have a date evening every Sunday evening.
Last week, was easily special because my associate and I were celebrating our third birthday birthday.
I bought a gorgeous new dress & some nice new jewelry to go with it. My hubby made reservations at our favorite eating establishment as well as at a beautiful hotel on the beach. It is about a three hour drive, & when my associate and I were halfway there, I realized that I had forgotten a overcoat. The new dress I bought was short sleeved, & I knew that the eating establishment would be easily cold. Just as I thought, the first thing I noticed when I walked in to the eating establishment was how frigid it was. I asked for some overheated root beer hoping it would overheated me up a bit. Unfortunately, it didn’t. I asked our waitress if he could turn the A/C down a little, & he said he could. By the time our food arrived, I was so frigid I was shaking. I felt so awful to ask my hubby to leave earlier than my associate and I planned, but he was more than willing since he knew I was easily cold. Our waitress saw us getting ready to leave & asked us if there was a problem. I told him that it was simply too frigid in the eating establishment for us to stay. He asked us politely to wait while he talked to his supervisor. The supervisor came back & apologized for it being so cold. He didn’t charge us for anything & promised to raise the temperature. Thankfully, my associate and I were able to stay & finish our meals. I don’t know why eating establishments are so cold, however I wish they weren’t.
