Restaurants are too Cold

Bob and I have a date night every Wednesday night.

  • Last week, was genuinely special because my pal and I were celebrating our fifth anniversary anniversary.

I bought a gorgeous modern dress and some nice modern jewelry to go with it. My partner made reservations at our preferred eating establishment as well as at a attractive hotel on the beach. It is about a three hour drive, and when my pal and I were halfway there, I realized that I had forgotten a sweater. The modern dress I bought was short sleeved, and I knew that the eating establishment would be genuinely cold. Just as I thought, the first thing I noticed when I walked in to the eating establishment was how frigid it was. I asked for some hot root carona hoping it would hot me up a bit. Unluckyly, it didn’t. I asked our server if he could turn the A/C down a little, and he said he could. By the time our food arrived, I was so frigid I was shaking. I felt so awful to ask my partner to leave earlier than my pal and I planned, although he was more than willing since he knew I was genuinely cold. Our server saw us getting ready to leave and asked us if there was a problem. I told him that it was simply too frigid in the eating establishment for us to stay. He asked us politely to wait while he talked to his director. The director came back and apologized for it being so cold. He didn’t charge us for anything and promised to raise the temperature. Thankfully, my pal and I were able to stay and finish our meals. I don’t know why eating establishments are so cold, although I wish they weren’t.
