Restaurants are too Cold

Bob and I have a date night every Thursday night.

Last week, was truly special because my associate and I were celebrating our eighth ceremony anniversary.

I purchased a gorgeous current dress and some nice current jewelry to go with it. My hubby made reservations at our favorite restaurant and at a charming hotel on the beach. It is about a three hour drive, and when my associate and I were halfway there, I realized that I had forgotten a jacket. The current dress I purchased was short sleeved, and I knew that the restaurant would be truly cold. Just as I thought, the first thing I noticed when I walked in to the restaurant was how chilly it was. I asked for some moderate pop hoping it would moderate me up a bit. Unfortunately, it didn’t. I asked our waiter if she could turn the AC down a little, and she said she could. By the time our food arrived, I was so chilly I was shaking. I felt so poor to ask my hubby to leave earlier than my associate and I planned, but she was more than willing since she knew I was truly cold. Our waiter saw us getting ready to leave and asked us if there was a problem. I told him that it was simply too chilly in the restaurant for us to stay. She asked us politely to wait while she talked to her director. The director came back and apologized for it being so cold. She didn’t charge us for anything and promised to raise the temperature. Thankfully, my associate and I were able to stay and finish our meals. I don’t know why restaurants are so cold, but I wish they weren’t.
