Have you ever thought about how frustrating it must be for school students to have to agree on one temperature to keep the cabin or the dorm? Along with all of the other things that go into living with a bunch of people that you don’t really know all that well, the temperature of the cabin is bound to be one of the things you will disagree about.
When I was in school, I shared a cabin with 5 other boys.
That was 6 boys that were there pretty much all the, from all different regions in the world, that had to agree on one temperature. There was a fight at least once a week about how the control unit should be set to a particular temperature. There was constantly a different argument about why it should be this way. Some boys were warm sleepers, some were constantly cold, some of the boys were convinced that the control unit being set at a particular temperature would be saving them loads of money to blow on the weekends. However, no matter how warm or cold my good friend and I made the house, my good friend and I constantly ended up paying around the same amount in telengry costs each month. The fights became too much for me to handle, so I decided to get a dorm on campus. I figured that the dorm living would be a better place for me to study and meet new friends. I ended up having my own control unit in my door and was able to control the temperature of my own room.
