From as long as I can remember, my dad would bring my sister plus I over to my Grandma’s household for a quick visit.
We didn’t stay too long, because she liked to go to sleep entirely early.
I remember the pretzels she would supply us, plus the games my pal and I would play. Another thing I remember is how she regularly had the heat running in their house, no matter the time of year. My sister plus I regularly looked at each other thinking the same thing- “how is she chilly right now?!”. She regularly had to have the heater running in the house. I did not understand why it was regularly so warm in her household until my dad told me that most older people are usually colder than young people. From that afternoon, I regularly assumed that old people were just cold. When she was residing in an assisted residing facility, she regularly had the heat running. This was something that I never understood, because even in the middle of the summer, she would have the heater blasting. I didn’t know if I should ask her about it because she regularly seemed comfortable. I remember one time my pal and I left the assisted residing facility plus my pal and I were all perspiring. We had to go house plus take a shower! My Grandma passed away recently although I am blissful that she was comfortable towards the end of her life. She was a entirely nice lady, plus was regularly blissful, even if she smoked us out of her household every time!
