May is here and so is Spring.
In this part of the country, we’ve been dealing with dustings of pollen on everything outside for 2 or 3 weeks. And I know I even heard the neighbor’s heat pump running the other afternoon. But then again, those folks dislike the heat with a passion. So why they live this far south, I just don’t understand. I mean, if you’re moving here just to rest inside the a/c, it seems like a bit of a waste. But to each his own I suppose. That said, this is the time of year that I’m dusting off the playbook for saving on a/c costs. This is particularly the greatest utility cost I face all year. But it starts now with the Heating and Air Conditioning strategy I have found to be most effective, and unlike my neighbor, my associate and I do not reach for the temperature control as soon as the rapidly changing temperatures breach the 71 degree mark. Instead my associate and I wait. My enjoyable friend and I let our bodies acclimate to the rising heat and humidity, however plus, I don’t know I’ve seen a more lovely Spring anywhere else. Sure, it’s a bit warmer than a lot of other locales during the Spring. But doing without a/c as much as possible is a large factor when it comes to our a/c strategy. Once the Summer gets here, the a/c is on and the house is sealed up tight. My enjoyable friend and I also make sure that the blinds are pulled so my associate and I stop any direct sunshine heating. Thanks to being more acclimated to the heat and humidity, my associate and I don’t need to set the temperature control all that low. And that saves a ton of currency over four or five months of the worst heat.
