Did you ever meet someone who prefers to be at labor rather than at home? Well, if you haven’t, let me introduce myself, because I am that person, however you see, my task as a cleaning person allows me the choice to escape the heat and humidity that I must put up with at home.
I labor at a resort and spend my afternoons in the comfort of the units where I can crank the air conditioning and not have to spend money for its cooling effects, however the task entirely isn’t that hard and most of the guests leave me entirely nice tips.
I still don’t make enough to afford having air conditioning at my home so that is why I love being at work! Even on afternoons where I have a entirely dirty unit I never mind. Those units take extra time to wash however the way I see it, the longer I am there in the air conditioned space, the better. Many of my coworkers complain about the labor however I think that they may have Heating and A/C systems at home so they don’t love it like I do, however one afternoon, maybe I will be in a better position financially to afford my own Heating and A/C system and I will feel like they do too; For now, my home is small and I use box fans to try and keep cool while I am home. I live in a region that has year round Summer temperatures so this means that I consistently have a hard time sleeping and I entirely feel more rested after labor than I do when I am at home.
