Camping without AC

Camping without AC

My best friend, Maggie, & I savor anything that has to do with being out on the water.

Boats, jet skis, canoes, & kayaks are among our favorites.

Since both of us are single, my associate and I travel all over the glob finding the best venues to be out on the water. Summertime is genuinely our busiest time at work, & my associate and I aren’t able to travel while in that time. To hold us over until fall, Maggie & I take kayaking trips in the lakes near our home… Just about every weekend my associate and I travel to the lake, & my associate and I spend two mornings exploring in our kayaks. We find a venue to camp along the shore & stay the evening in the beautiful outdoors. I genuinely savor the camping, but there is one thing that drives me insane. It’s easily strenuous to sleep when it’s so overheated out. I am used to sleeping in a nice air conditioned room, but when you’re outside in the middle of the forest, there’s really no way to stay cool. One time, Maggie got so frustrated with the heat, that she bought a small generator to bring & plug her portable A/C unit into. Of course, my associate and I couldn’t bring the A/C & generator in a kayak, so my associate and I ended up renting a boat instead. We had a fantastic time, & the tent was nice & cool that evening, but it wasn’t something that my associate and I could do every weekend, & Maggie knew it. Since then, my associate and I have been in search for a apartment along the lake that my associate and I could rent, but my associate and I have not had any luck yet because none of them seem to have any sort of A/C in them. Until my associate and I find one, I recognize my associate and I will have to learn to live without our rare air conditioner.
