It is only January first tomorrow and I am already thinking about buying a unit to keep me cool for the summer.
I know that summer is still a long way off, but sometimes if you buy things early when others aren’t you can get some really good deals.
I will probably go this week to look for something, but if I am too busy with work then I will wait and do it next week. I just want to get something before the heat comes and there is a mad rush to buy all of the air conditioners in the local businesses. I don’t know a lot about the industry but I do know that when the weather gets warm all of the people come in droves to buy up the items that are hot. I want a ductless mini split air conditioner if they have them and am willing to pay a few hundred for a good one that has a high SEER rating and can save me money in the long run. I don’t like to run the central system just to cool down one room for the day, so I think that buying this little unit is going to solve the problem. My HVAC rep told me that this unit should only cost about $25 a month to run all of the time in my little office. It won’t actually be running all of the time and when it does run it uses very little energy to cool the small room. I can’t wait for my little A/C to be set up in my office.
