I am the cookie monster. I savor just about every kind of cookie, & if I could eat them for every meal without damaging my health, I would. I don’t mind store bought cookies, but they never seem to compare to fresh homemade ones. I didn’t have an oven for over two years because ours broke, & my associate and I didn’t have the finances to purchase a new one at the time. Three months ago, my hubby bought me an oven & surprised me with it on my birthday. It was genuinely the best gift I’ve ever gotten for my birthday. Since I got the oven, I have been baking cookies just about everyday. There are only four people in our family, so my associate and I can’t possibly eat all the cookies that I make, so my associate and I take them to our neighbors. I savor cookies, so I savor baking, but baking in my little study room often is really annoying because it gets quite warm. I always have fans blowing the overheated air outside & other fans blowing into the kitech to try & keep the room cool enough, but it just doesn’t work. I told my hubby about it, & he said he would look into getting me a small A/C that would fit in the window of our little study room. He came home from work that evening with an A/C in one arm & ingredients for more cookies in the other. He installed the A/C unit, & now the study room stays cool no matter how long I bake for. I am so gleeful that I can do all my baking & be comfortable at the same time.
