Dusting off the air conditioner playbook

Dusting off the air conditioner playbook

Thanks to being more acclimated to the heat & humidity, my pal and I don’t need to set the control unit all that low

May is here & so is Springtime. In this part of the country, we’ve been dealing with dustings of pollen on everything outside for 2 or 3 weeks. And I suppose I even heard the neighbor’s heat pump running the other afternoon. But then again, those folks don’t like the heat with a passion. So why they live this far south, I just don’t understand. I mean, if you’re moving here just to sit inside the air conditioner, it seems like a bit of a waste. But to each his own I suppose. That said, this is the time of year that I’m dusting off the playbook for saving on air conditioner costs. This is absolutely the biggest utility cost I face all year. But it starts now with the Heating & Air Conditioning strategy I have found to be most effective, however unlike my neighbor, my pal and I do not reach for the control unit as soon as the hot & cold temperatures breach the 77 degree mark. Instead my pal and I wait. My superb friend and I let our bodies acclimate to the rising heat & humidity. Plus, I don’t suppose I’ve seen a more attractive Springtime somewhere else. Sure, it’s a bit warmer than a lot of other venues while in the Springtime. But doing separate from air conditioner as much as possible is a giant factor when it comes to our air conditioner strategy. Once the Summer gets here, the air conditioner is on & the house is sealed up tight. My superb friend and I also make sure that the blinds are pulled so my pal and I stop any direct sunlight heating. Thanks to being more acclimated to the heat & humidity, my pal and I don’t need to set the control unit all that low. And that saves a ton of money over four or five months of the worst heat.
